The Oakwood Bar and Grill is a Dearborn staple for years. Located right on Oakwood near the Southfield Freeway, it is the go-to destination for lunch or dinner. In addition, they offer a large varied menu that has something for everyone.
The great aspect of their location is that they are very close to Fairlane Green, what most people refer to as “The Hill”. Tons of shopping is available there from stores such as Target, Home Depot, Meijer, and many others. So after a long day of shopping unwind at the Oakwood with great food and good drinks.
What sets the Oakwood Bar and Grill apart from other bars and grills, is its delicious pizza menu. The in-house pizza oven can make any pizza of your desire. If you have a really big hunger, try the huge calzones with up to four toppings for only $9.95. They are big so you may want to share, or not.
Of course, sometimes you just want to unwind with a nice drink. The Oakwood carries a large variety of beers, wine, and mixed drinks to choose from. If you do not see what you are looking for, no problem ask the staff and they will be glad to make it for you.
One of the local favorite appetizers on the menu is the Fire Beef. If you like spice this is the app for you. They are filet tips sauteed in roasted red peppers and caramelized onions and served with a spicy garlic chili sauce. Of course, if you are not into spice another popular one is the jumbo soft pretzels served with either warm cheddar cheese or a cream cheese jalapeno sauce.
For dinner one of the more popular dishes is Lamb Chops. The lamb chops are a 1/2 rack of herb-encrusted Australian lamb chargrilled with fresh herbs and served with raspberry sauce. No matter what you choose you will enjoy the food and atmosphere at the Oakwood Bar and Grill.
